Abi's Nail Art Experience at GIONYX Hair & Nail Salon

Last Saturday, we got a chance to visit GIONYX Hair & Nails Salon.  It’s really near our place.  We can even ride a jeepney if I don’t feel like driving. The location is so accessible and actually just right across Century City Mall.

Abi was so excited to get there because she wanted her nails done with art works.  She said “Mom, I really like to have nail art this time.”

We have been homeschooling for 4 years now.  My daughter and I enjoy most of our times together.  As mother and daughter, we love to eat out, do window shopping and even salon hopping.  Since the time she turned 7 years old, I already gave her the license to have nail polish at least once a year. She’s allowed to have it during her birthday month.

She even got excited after seeing the swatches of the nail polish.  She went gaga with all the different colors available.

Abi said,  “When I first took a seat, I felt relax with the bubble thingy for my feet. It was my first time."

Abi,  "When my nails were already done, I felt good and I really like the design. It was a nice nail art.  Pretty flower nails!  And the workers (staff) there are good.”

Her finger nails were painted pink while her toe nails got purple. We both fell in love with the flowers that was carefully applied to her nails.  It takes patience doing nail arts, I could say just from the way I see it.

GIONYXC is cozy place where you can relax and get pampered. You and your young ladies can enjoy the long and wide selections of nail colors and nail art designs.

Life begins @ 40 : My Special Birthday Celebration

Last August 12, 2016,  I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. It was almost two months before my 40th birthday.  I have always wished to make my 40th birthday a celebration that is so fabulous since I never had one since I was a kid.  But then, I remember, it's better to make a difference to others who are less fortunate.  So I decided to contact a home where I can share my special day. I do not really celebrate my birthdays, I am usually the one making preparations for my family's birthdays.

They said life begins at 40 and that made me promise to myself that from then on, I will try my best to celebrate my birthday with something that can make an make a difference.

I may have looked physically deformed with the left side of my face, but I know that my heart was in its perfect shape filled with happiness with my family and friends who supported all the way to make this happen.

To God be the Glory!
