I WANT TO LEAVE A LEGACY

I really like this song! Reminds me of my purpose in life, and that is to leave a legacy.

I may not be rich in the standard of this world. To me, being rich is simply being happy of I what you have and what I am blessed with.  I always remind my daughter not to look at other people's plate.  I believe that we only start feeling poor the moment we also start comparing things from the others.  No worries to look at others success if you will consider it as an inspiration and not a threat.

I don't know what charisma I have, I have met a lot of people from different walks of life and most of the time, I get their impressions that I seemed to be a pleasant person, that is why they did not hesitate to approach me.(still the humble me)

Mind you, not all physically beautiful people are pleasant to be with. Someone may not have a perfect pointed nose, yet has an amazing personality.  True as what the old saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but to me, beauty is in the heart of the beholder. Why will I say that?  We individuals have our own standards, what's beautiful to me may not be beautiful in your standard.  Still, the heart that sees the other persons if they are beautiful or not.

Others might see smiling and still looking younger than my age...hahahaha! My secret...

1. I thank God every morning, for waking me up!  New hope, new beginning, never ending mercies of my Father.  He's mercies never comes to an end because it's new every morning.  I read God's word and pray.  Have you tried waking up in the morning and the first thing you'll seek is God's face? . That is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Lamentations 3:22
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; Lamentations 3:22
2.  I try not to get mad easily, specially with other people. Noticed when you are always mad or angry, lines can be seen on your face. It takes a lot of muscles to frown than to smile.  Temper is one of the hardest thing to control, and yet it's still our choice.  My life is not perfect, but I choose to smile and be happy.
Proverbs 14:29
Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.

3.  I try to live one day at a time.  What are you doing everyday?  Worry and worry and worry?  I don't really do that that much.  I put my trust to my God who can feed the birds in the fields.  I really try to worry less.

Matthew 6:34
"So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" (Matt. 6:34).

I want to leave a legacy, how people will remember me...
I just want to be remembered as someone you'll thank God, for allowing me to be a part of your life. That I am someone who impacted your life..

Let's choose to love!
Let's choose to care!
Let's choose to share!
Let's choose to leave a legacy

I want To Leave A Legacy by Nichole Nordeman

I don't mind if you've got something nice to say about me
And I enjoy an accolade like the rest
And you could take my picture and hang it in a gallery
Of all the who's who's and so-and-so
That used to be the best at such and such
It wouldn't matter much

I won't lie, it feels alright to see your name in lights
We all need an 'Atta Boy' or 'Atta Girl'
In the end I'd like to hang my hat on more besides
The temporary trappings of this world

I want to leave a legacy, how will they remember me?
Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough
To make a mark on things? I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who blessed your name
Unapologetically and leave that kind of legacy

I don't have to look too far or too long awhile
To make a lengthly list of all that I enjoy
It's an accumulating trinket and a treasure pile
Where moth and rust, thieves and such will soon enough destroy

I want to leave a legacy, how will they remember me?
Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough
To make a mark on things? I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who blessed your name
Unapologetically and leave that kind of legacy

Not well traveled, not well read
Not well-to-do or well bred
I just want to hear instead
"Well done good and faithful one"
Yeah, yeah

I want to leave a legacy, how will they remember me?
Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough
To make a mark on things? I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who blessed your name
Unapologetically and leave that kind of legacy
I don't mind if you've got something nice to say about me
