How true is the statement “Kilay is Life”?  

To me, it is so true. Seeing me without eyebrows (kilay) is a turn-off. I literally look like a new born baby. That’s how my friends or colleagues used to tease me. That is why, before leaving the house, I got to make it sure that I was able to draw my eyebrows. Nowadays, a woman could be judge by some as unprofessional, sloppy or no fashion sense. Anyways, I don't really care that much how others would judge me with my eyebrows. In my case, it is my own choice. "Kilay is life" to me because I feel more confident whenever I wear my brows. I can definitely look good on photos specially when I am out for an event or just out for a walk. #KilayReady is of course #KodakReady life.

I conquered my fear.

Today marks one week of one of the Best Big decisions that I made in my life. To finally have a professional touch my eyebrows.

I have a fear of needles. Of which I was not able to avoid during giving birth to my daughter. But other than that, I do not have needle encounters aside from pricking my finger to check my blood sugar from time to time. And it’s just quick and that’s it.

Last Friday, honestly, I dragged myself to face my fear. Was even about to back-out after hearing someone’s experience the same time I was about to have my schedule.

To my surprise, it was a pleasant experience to remember. All the while I thought, having my eyebrows make-over will cause me so much pain and suffering. I stand corrected. Thanks to Ms. Kristine Lucas for having a long stretch of patience even before the final session schedule. And I thank God for the word anesthesia. It can make our life less painful.

The bubbly personality of Ms. Kristine Lucas really helped during my Ombre Powder Brows session. I can say, anesthesia + Kristine Lucas = wonderful experience! It took less than an hour and tadahhhh, I finally got my KILAY (eyebrows)!

See, I can still even smile while having my needle session. My first time to have my brows manage by the Master Artist, Kristine Lucas. This is one of the best decision I've ever made in my life. Also with great encouragement from my college BFF  and UBP co-founder, Bette Medina. 

Here's my first 3 days with my Ombre Powder Brows.

Really loving my #KilayReady life. I can save 20-30 minutes of my time doing my eyebrows manually. I can also save from eyebrow pencil and powder for the next 3 years. This is a wise investment that you can give yourself ladies.

Imagine waking up with your eyebrows ready! I can now spend my other 30 minutes to something else than to make my not so perfect eyebrows.
