Few weeks ago, The ANG Foodie Family was able to visit an amazing place in the heart of Pasay City. I never thought of seeing this one in the busy and crowded area in the metro. But yes, this is a great find.

From the exterior to the interior design of Selah Hotel, you can already have a feel of nature. Even from wall decors to furniture, the classy woods and different native and materials surrounds the beautiful place. I really appreciate it, because I myself is a fan of wood furniture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Selah Garden Hotel is not your ordinary hotel that you can find in the middle of the city. Aside from their modern room accommodation, you and your family or friends has a lot to explore in this small yet well-equipped facility.

If you seek for some adventure, you don't need to go far. They have high ropes and low ropes activities that you can enjoy. I can highly recommend having your team building here without spending so much time in the road to get to this place.

And of course, the clean infinity pool is already given. My young swimmer spent hours and hours of swimming with her friends.

My favorite here is the wall climbing area. But since my weight was not so appropriate for the activity, instead, I encouraged my daughter  to do it. She is a super fan of wall climbing since she was small. She feels good reaching the top. By the way, the guy on this photo, is none other than boyraket.com.

I must admit that I am not the adventurous type of person when it comes to rope activities. But my two babies are! Mr. Ang and baby Ang bravely tried the zip line for the first time. And of course, after the zip line, you have different options to go back to the ground. They both crossed the hanging bridge back to the second level of the tower where the stairs going down is located.

 

Congratulations to our young lady who just conquered her fear of heights by finishing the two way zip line and crossing hanging bridge.

 

 

The highlight of Selah for me is the lovely big swing. I love feeling the wind while swinging. It relaxes me. Even with those bunch of crazy peeps behind us...hahahaha!

 

With me is my lovely college bff Bette, enjoying the peaceful morning. She was all set to take her morning dip when I dragged her for this photo opt. I love this friend of mine who is always available whenever I call her...Such a good day to simply enjoy life with great people at this great place.

 

 

 

The young ladies of the mommy/lifestyle bloggers Claire and Millete together with my only daughter, had their bonding time while swinging under the big tree. And another lovely photo with friends Anne and Allan. Just to share with you...in my wish list, I really wish to have a swing in our future garden.

 

 

Here's the talented staff of Selah, they are so friendly and courteous. They can even dance and can help you facilitate games if needed. The cute thing, inside the hotel, when a dance music suddenly plays, all the staff will stop to whatever they are doing and will  gracefully dance. Isn't that entertaining?

When in Subic Bay : STAY at CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT HOTEL

 

What's your favorite time of the year? I bet you are shouting "SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER!"

 

Yes, summer is here and everyone must be at the lookout of places to spend our vacation and break from our busy life in the city.

 

One Wednesday afternoon, The ANG Foodie Family travelled all the way from Makati to Olongapo City for our early beach adventure. Now, we are sharing with you how it all went.

 

 

Why stay at CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT HOTEL

 

 

CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT HOTEL, is a perfect place to relax and unwind. You can have the pleasure to feel the nature and enjoy tranquility away from Manila even for a day or two. The beachfront. I love the beachfront, as you can see from your hotel room the beautiful sight of the horizon. Truly, nothing compares to the greatness of our Lord who created such master pieces like this.

THE ROOM

 

We stayed at the 2nd floor of Villas .... we entered our spacious room with the things that we all needed. Two comfy queen bed, big bathroom with bidet. Honestly, it comforts  me whenever I go to any places, I always wish to see a nice bidet attached to it's toilet. A cute fridge to keep our water cold, yes, electric kettle for hot drinks.

 

There's a corner by the window where you can pull the curtains and see outside world from our room.

 

Each room has a safe box, WIFI, flat TV, a cabinet to place our stuff and the long table where we put our gadgets and other stuff. Yes, the room was clean and with complete toiletries. Anyways, the staff are just a phone call away.

 

 

 

THE AMBIANCE

 

A delightful atmosphere. I really love staying at the 2nd floor where the veranda is just a few steps away from our room. Actually, just opening our door and the nature will welcome you with the summer breeze. I find serenity at this moment.

 

Another exciting part of our adventure, we also saw some wild monkeys roaming around the area. Swinging back and forth from one veranda to another. A little scary but happy to see them around too.

 

 

 

These babies of mine usually wake up really late in the morning. But this morning was so exceptional, they woke up around 6 o'clock and was so excited again to take their nature swim at the blue beach of Camayan. See what nature can do.

 

Camayan Beach Resort also offers cottages, good for big families or groups in big numbers doing day tour.

 

 THE POOL 

A dip in the pool before going straight to the beach is another option too. Just five feet deep plus the water is always warm even without a heater. It's so relaxing. 


THE BLUE BEACH

It's so awesome! Just watching the blue water from afar already excites me. A morning swim is so perfect for this huge beautiful basin. The clear water was so tantalizing. Who can resist staying in the water even at noon time when the sun was so high.

 

Amazing creations of God reminds me of His greatness, the best designer and architect of the world. Blue sky plus blue water can take your blues away.

THE REEF

Since Camayan Beach Resort is far from the city, good food and drinks are already made available at The Reef, a casual open-air environment. They offer freshly cooked meals and buffet for guests to enjoy. You can have your breakfast, snacks and dinner without worries at all.

 

What about a family breakfast at the beachfront? Yes, it's priceless! An outdoor meal with the wonderful view of the beach. If only we can do this everyday...
