FUJIFILM Philippines inaugurates new Makati office focused on healthcare innovation

 


FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. (FFPH), a leader in imaging and information technology, today announced the grand opening of its new office in Makati City, dedicated exclusively to advancing healthcare technology in the country. 


Mr. Masahiro Uehara, president of FFPH, said the new office at Metropolitan Ave., Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Makati City is the third office in the country since the company's establishment in 2012. Its other offices are located in Taguig City, Cebu City, and Davao City.

Uehara said the new facility will serve as a medical service center for diagnostic imaging machines or equipment, including ultrasound, x-ray machines, endoscopy, and other medical machines.


"We are thrilled to open our new office in Makati and to expand our support for the healthcare sector in the Philippines. Our advanced diagnostic imaging solutions and comprehensive repair services are designed to meet the growing demands of the healthcare industry and to contribute to better patient outcomes," he said.


Uehara noted that Makati was chosen as the site for the new office due to its status as a "Smart City," a testament to its commitment to technological innovation and modern infrastructure. The city's strategic location and advanced facilities also make it an ideal base for FFPH's healthcare operations.


"In addition to serving as a repair and maintenance center, the facility will function as a hub for sharing the latest medical technology and knowledge to the Philippine market. Fujifilm will provide technical training, not only to our valued dealers but also to doctors and medical students, fostering a collaborative environment to "co-create" new value. This office will provide a venue for Fujifilm and its stakeholders to develop innovative solutions together," he stated. 


He also thanked Makati Mayor Abby Binay for her unwavering support and for fostering an environment that encourages technological advancements in healthcare.
