MANILA, Philippines — LG Electronics Philippines has officially launched the LG Oldest Air Conditioner Hunt Promo, a nationwide search for the oldest still-working LG residential air conditioning unit in the country.

Open from January 22 to March 31, 2026, the campaign invites Filipino households to share their stories and showcase LG air conditioners that have continued to provide cooling comfort over the years.

“Many Filipino families have relied on LG air conditioners for years, shining proof of the durability and reliability of our poducts. And, this campaign is our way of celebrating those real-life experiences with our airconditioners, truly proving how we deliver the cool that lasts,” said Nakhyun Seong, managing director of LG Electronics Philippines. “We’re excited to see how long some of these units have been running and to hear the stories behind them.”

Who Can Join

The promo is open to Philippine residents aged 18 and above who own a residential LG air conditioning unit that:

• Has a legible serial or model number to verify its age

• Is still fully operational

LG employees, dealer partners, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to participate.

How to Join

Participants must complete the following steps:

1. Follow LG Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

2. Create a video clearly showing:

• The old but still working LG air conditioner

• The serial or model number

• The unit turned on to demonstrate functionality

3. Upload the video as a public post on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok using the hashtag #LGairconSearch and tag @LGPhilippines.

4. Register at http://www.lgpromoregistration.com.ph and submit:

• Personal details

• Link to the video post

• The same video file

Entries must be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated based on:

• Age of Unit – 30%

• Functionality – 25%

(The video must clearly show that the air conditioner is turned on and working.)

• Video Content – 35%

(Participants must share their experience and explain why “LG Aircon is the Cool That Lasts.”)

• Video Quality – 10%

(The video must be clear and submitted in MP4 format.)

Prizes

Winners will receive brand-new LG split-type air conditioners:

• 1st Prize: HS12APX3 (1.5 HP Split Type) – Php 65,788

• 2nd Prize: HS09APX3 (1 HP Split Type) – Php 61,588

• 3rd Prize: HS09IPX3 (1 HP Split Type) – Php 53,188

Prizes are non-convertible to cash and non-transferable.
