catering menus perfect for outdoor events, backyard and pool parties!
Last Saturday, The Ang Foodie Family went to our very first BBQ party invitation with the KTG. The
event featured The Plaza’s resident grill master, Raymund A. Reyes, a.k.a.
SkiRay, who also happens to be the Chief Finance Officer of The Plaza. Tito Ray as a former banker from Canada is now doing his real passion, grilling!
The healthy treats was there, starting with the salad that were mixed greens with pears, oranges, walnuts and feta with kinds of dressing, Citrus dressing and Chia Seed dressing. There's Mexican Elote Salad and Coleslaw too.
Tito SkiRay's signature BBQ items are the Norwegian salmon on cedar plank done four-ways, with Dijon mustard, Thai sauce, salmon spice and dill salt. Our young foodie had so much pleasure with these pinky salmon.
My first to time to meet the Cajun beer can chicken. As I was having a conversation with Tito Ray, he mentioned that he's open to try it with other drinks. And I of course suggested, what about margarita or tequila? Maybe, as long as it's in a can where the chicken can rest its butt.
The baby back ribs is the all-time favorite of family especially Mr. Ang's.
Meats paired well with Ski Ray’s BBQ sauce and Ski Ray’s Boozy BBQ sauce.
Abi, our young foodie enjoyed almost everything from the menu. But to name it, she loved the mash potato, beef ribs, baked beans, mac & cheese and of course the salmon.

Other items prepared by The Plaza are their mini cream cheese burgers, assorted sausages Schublig, Hungarian, Kielbasa with onions and peppers and the newest addition to their BBQ line, the smoked beef rib served with a gravy or with SkiRay’s Boozy BBQ sauce.
The smoked beef ribs was the highlight of the event! Just a little move and it falls off its bone. The beautiful Karla's so proud to hold the baby! I so loved it too. You may see the fatty side, but it's oh so good and tender.
The side dishes include, Mexican elote salad, roasted garlic and cheddar mashed potatoes, baked beans, yellow rice with onions, red and green bell pepper and more. The mashed potato, you'll taste the real goodness of real potatoes.
You also have the option to add in a live mac & cheese station with three kinds of cheese such as cheddar, mozzarella, Swiss cheese, or a fajita and taco station. Right in front of you, you'll witness how the cheeses melts in the pan. Crazy yummy!
And of course the other signature dishes by The Plaza such are The Plaza Premium Baked Ham, Roast Angus Corned Beef, New York-style Hot Pastrami and much more. The ham is so perfect with the pandesal!
For dessert, apple compote with crumble on top and The Plaza’s designer brownie with a layer of cream cheese and toasted marshmallows were served. There also was an ice cream station by FIC featuring their frozen custard line. Available flavors were dark chocolate truffle, espresso and mantecado. The chocolate flavor has its right sweetness for T2D like me. Happy to almost finish a cup for that day.
Refreshing iced tea slushees were provided by Swizzle Mobile Bar and for the adults, strawberry basil margarita slushees. Yes, the strawberry basil margarita caught my attention.
