Autistic Artist Opens His First Solo Exhibit at Balay Dako in Tagaytay.
Julyan Harrison, born in 1992, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. He has spent countless hours of multiple simultaneous therapies which enable him to function despite his severe communication and behavioural limitations.
Julyan's parents’ relentless determination continues to uncover a myriad of possibilities in his sanctuary at Julyan's Farm and Zambawood.
Today, Julyan has emerged as an accomplished artist in his own quirky way, where an ordinary pair of eyes may only see simple, one-dimensional subjects, Julyan's works of art reflect more dee and confidence without completely losing its pure innocence.
Indeed Julyan continues to find true fun and purpose, even in his "ordinary simple" activities by the beach at Zambawood in Zambales, Philippines.
