Empowering the next generation of data professionals, 29 women scholars have graduated from the Data Science Training program provided by the InLife Foundation in partnership with the For the Women (FTW) Foundation.
The women scholars have completed 14 weeks of intensive data science training which covered data management, data visualization using tableau, statistical techniques, methods in python programming and machine learning, and soft skills like critical thinking and effective communication.
InLife Foundation, InLife’s corporate social responsibility arm, has sponsored 78 scholars on Data Science Training since 2021 as part of its advocacy to empower women through education. The training program equips the scholars with competencies in data science and analytics which are considered as careers of the future. From the second batch of graduates, 77% have successfully transitioned to data analytics roles and reported that their salaries were almost three times their previous earnings.
InLife Foundation Trustee and InLife Chief Corporate Solutions Officer Noemi Azura told the graduates that they will not just build careers but shape industries, drive innovation, and create real impact.
“Your journey is just beginning. You have the skills, the knowledge, and the determination to succeed in this fast-growing field. Companies everywhere need skilled data analysts—problem solvers who turn numbers into insights and insights into action. You are the problem solvers. Believe in yourself, seize opportunities, keep learning, and always pay it forward,” she said during the Data Science Scholars Capstone Presentation and Graduation Day.
