CPK Philippines launches NEW Menu with all new pizzas, pasta, salad and all New RICE MEALS in Philippines

Staying true to its roots of California creativity, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) reaffirms its legacy and brand promise of a culinary adventure with the launch of its’ new menu replete with new pizza, pasta, and salad offerings.  And for the 1st time in the Philippines, CPK ups the ante by introducing All NEW Rice Entrees imbued with that same California inventiveness and culinary ingenuity!
 
Among their new salads, these fresh beauties will get your meal started on the right foot.

Quinoa + Arugula, Chinese Chicken, and Grilled Shrimp, Strawberry + Goat Cheese.   A healthy yet tasty meal starter, their Quinoa + Arugula is a super-grain salad with asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, toasted pine nuts, and Feta cheese tossed in their house made Honey Dijon vinaigrette.

Among their new pizza creations, must tries among the Original Hand Tossed pizzas are the Surf & Turf Trio, Shrimp Scampi, and Anchovies + Goat Cheese Pizza while the stand-outs for the Crispy Thin Crust Pizzas are the Foriana Roasted Walnut + Cauliflower, Sweet-Fire Cod, and the Spicy Shrimp Poppers. 
The Surf & Turf Trio brings the best of both worlds together with shrimp, bacon, salami, Queso Quesadilla, Mozzarella, tomatoes, & asparagus.  Tangy seafood flavors punctuate their Shrimp Scampi lathered with a lemon-garlic sauce. 
 
The Grand Winner of CPK Philippines’ 2016 Pizza Wars Competition, the Anchovies + Goat Cheese Pizza was the unanimous choice by an esteemed panel of judges including Chef Sandy Daza and Chef Sau del Rosario.  Co-runners up of the 2016 Pizza Wars Competition are the Spicy Shrimp Poppers with Mozzarella and cream cheese, veggies, crisp rice sticks, & spicy shrimp and the Sweet-Fire Cod with sweet fire sauce crispy cod, Mozzarella, Goat cheese, onions, & bell peppers topped with a house made Mango-Cucumber Salsa. 
And lastly, for a singularly tasty vegetarian treat, try their Foriana Roasted Walnut + Cauliflower pizza with a rustic Mediterranean Foriana sauce, Queso Quesadilla, Mozzarella, cauliflower, bell peppers, & onions.

In their line-up of new pasta offerings, you can’t go wrong with this roster of can’t miss prospects: Foriana and their NEW Chicken & Sausage Fajita.  The Foriana is spaghetti noodles tossed in a rustic Mediterranean Foriana sauce with sun-dried & cherry tomatoes topped with shaved Parmesan cheese.  For those who like it hot, their NEW Chicken & Sausage Fajita with smoked sausage, grilled chicken, tri-color peppers & jalapeno with spinach fettucine in their spicy roasted garlic cream sauce is sure to please.

For those who enjoy a bit of the Oriental flair, there is their Chinese Chicken with Napa & red cabbage, Romaine lettuce, crisp wonton strips, scallions, fresh cilantro, & sesame seeds tossed in a Hoisin ginger vinaigrette.  Freshness rules with their Grilled Shrimp, Strawberry + Goat Cheese of grilled fresh shrimp, strawberries, pears, mixed greens, almond flakes, & Goat cheese tossed in their house made Honey Dijon vinaigrette. 
And finally, their all NEW Rice Entrees will appeal to your Filipino sensibilities while keeping you in a rarefied California State of Mind! 
Their Cod + Seasoned Vegetables is comprised of fresh cod fillet with sautéed onions, zucchini, eggplant, and broccoli in a roasted squash puree.  

Their Chicken + Asparagus in Lemon Cream Sauce consists of fried chicken breast fillet smothered with their Piccata cream sauce and served with asparagus, cherry tomatoes, & black olives.

Their Crispy Calamari + Stir Fried Vegetables is fried calamari with mixed vegetables sautéed in a soy-ginger sauce served with house made remoulade on the side.  For those who enjoy a bit of a spicy sweet seafood kick, their Sweet Flame Shrimp of sweet & spicy shrimp served with mango-cucumber salsa and fresh cilantro will definitely hit the spot.  Replete with Mexican heat, their Cali-Mex Chicken Salsa is grilled chicken topped with house made Chipotle Salsa and jalapeno served with blue corn tortilla chips and lime crema.

MY FINAL SAY! 
1. FOOD *****
Brand new menu! I could say, that you should try everything! If you are a rice person, you'll be happy to have a taste of the new Rice Meals! If you're a pizza lover, the Surf n Turf will give you a delight.

2.THE AMBIANCE*****
The branch here in Edsa Shangri-La Plaza is located at the West Wing with the glass wall on one side. The high ceiling makes me feel good. I don't know why I really appreciate high ceiling structures. You can bring your big group or family for good food and company.
 
3. LOCATION ****
I seldom visit Ortigas area, but if the Glorietta and Century Mall gets full packed, I can swing by to Edsa Shangrila. Hahahaha!

 4. PRICE ****
The prices are reasonable enough to enjoy a good and decent meal. You have options of having a half portion or full portion of some dishes from the menu.
 
5.SERVICE*****
The friendly staff gave us a stress-free dining experience! I love you Cris!
