GEN KOREAN BBQ HOUSE: Heaven of Meats!

We all love the thoughts of heaven and how it’s like to be there… Well, heaven on earth experiences really excites me too.  Discovering new places, things, food and everything new gives me all the reason to celebrate and enjoy life.

Recently, my chubby tummy bumped into an amazing venue to satisfy my Korean food cravings. Finding out that there’s a cozy place to grill without smelling after your meal, is a relief to me. Since my family and I love trying Korean restaurants, we usually end up going out still smelling like barbeque after we dine in. Who would like to smell like bbq specially if you are going to another place? I highly recommend Gen!
 
The first night of my visit to Gen was an awesome experience. Located by the bay, the scenery of sunset just captured my heart. Dining with a cool ambiance is my second requirement. If you like dining in to a modern ambiance of the black-lit resto, it’s truly a unique experience!

Now, let’s go to the main event! Since I was in the mood that night, I grabbed the thongs and faced the grill, I did the honor of grilling for our table. It’s actually my pleasure to cook for the people I love. I’m so excited to be back there with The Ang Foodie Family!
Discovering Gen Korean Barbeque House is a gem! Like, there’s no place like this by far…it’s the perfect place to get together for any celebrations. Visiting this place is simply a pig-out session! A must-try! The food tastes divine!

My young foodie enjoyed the meats! She’s not really a carnivore unlike her dad, but she was able to appreciate most of the meats that was served to us. That is what a quality meat can do, it can make my young foodie eat meat! She enjoyed the meat bite after bite. She even finished her cup of rice without pressure, hahaha!
I'm so happy that Gen Korean BBQ House from sunny LA, California has found its new home at SM by the Bay. The massive 500 seater dining area diner experience top-of-the-line all-you-can-eat meat and seafood. Aside from amazing ambiance and food selection, Gen has equally amazing promos and offers in store for you!

Chef John Cu-Unjieng has been in the food industry for over 30 years now. He had his formal training at the Culinary Institute of America. He shot to prominence in the 1990s with his TV show, "How About my Kitchen", and with his first restaurant, Perico's, known for its paellas and thanh kong crabs. He then later on worked as the corporate chef for The Bistro Group and eventually headed McDonald's Philippines' Research and Development Department. Currently, he and his wife are managing the Heaxagon Lounge, the executive dining room of RCBC Plaza while managing JAM Foods & Co.
