100 Christmas Wishes at Glorietta

Christmas is the time of the year where everyone's busy to find gifts for loved ones, office mates, friends, business contacts and almost for everyone we know if possible. Due to Christmas rush and traffic, I missed the whole program of the event. But, still fortunate to see other kids who are enjoying the gifts they have received. Such a heart-melting experience to see these unfortunate children have fun and enjoy

The 100 Christmas Wishes held at the Glorietta Activity Center just marked a difference in the heart of the young children who got to join the program. The joy of sharing and granting 100 wishes of less fortunate kids would be such a treasure to those who have extended their resources.

Meet The Cheerful i-Volunteer Group

I missed the program but still was able to see the kids while they are waiting for their fetcher. Their BIG SMILES will definitely brighten up your day. Good job to all the sponsors and volunteers who spent their nights and days in preparation for this wonderful and meaningful event.

I can not believe it with my eyes what I saw on the Music Hall area of the SM Mall of Asia! Lots of doodlers from different parts of our country. They must be serious with their doodling skills to travel and leave their comfort zone where they are from. 

The contest of Titus Pens iDoodle Battle of the Champions 2015 and Titus iDoodle Pasko sa ‘Pinas On-the- Spot Ballpen Art Contest filled this huge space.

The generous gift pack for media/bloggers made me happy because I am into pen collection.  I failed to finish the event due to other commitment. But I enjoyed the moments that I have spent there seeing artist at work from different walks of life.

Under Armour : Women of Will | Pink Fitness Party

Breast cancer has been running the top spot of women diseases worldwide. That is why people especially women – diagnosed, affected or not are continuously spreading awareness about the killer disease. This year, Triple Pte. Ltd.and the Under Armour brand joined forces with those who use sports, fitness and has an active lifestyle in the fight against breast cancer.

Many women have attended Under Armour’s Women of Will circuit training and yoga classes last November 7, at the Edsa Shangri- La Hotel and November 8 at the Ayala Triangle. These ladies braved their way to be part of the Women of Will campaign for their stand on fitness and strength, which also serves as a support for women in battling breast cancer.

It’s a thrilling sight that a lot of women participated the event and showed their support for the campaign. Under Armour’s ambassador Emmanuelle Adda, a French-Filipina performing artist and fitness enthusiast stated “If it doesn’t involve you stepping outside, touching other people, it is pointless.”

Participants spent the night practicing circuit training and yoga with Ms. Adda, as she also shared a few tips on how to step out of your comfort zone and be a Woman of Will. “Push yourself, know yourself, routine is your enemy and set a higher mark to grow. Do not compare yourself to a magazine, be true to what you are!” says Emmanuelle Adda in an interview. Under Armour made partnerships with strategic gyms and health clubs for the month-long celebration.

Being Under Armour’s health club partner, Edsa Shangri-La Hotel made the event even more relaxing through their crew’s assistance and service to the yogis. “It aligns very much to how we position the Club for our female members and guests. Our goal is to actively promote a lifestyle that is anchored on fitness and wellness. It’s all about celebrating a woman’s strength and watching each of them reach and even surpass their own potential – and this is exactly what Women of Will is all about.” A statement from Edsa Shangri-La’s Health Club Manager, Renessa Santos regarding their partnership with Under Armour.

Neither heat nor sunlight was able to stop yogis from participating the Sunday yoga class at the Ayala Triangle, a benefit event of Urban Ashram Yoga. As the class progressed, more people came to register and the event ended with 200 attendees. Under Armour collectibles were given away, with a raffle draw from sponsors care of Urban Ashram. A group activity was also held, where the attendees were able to interact with other yogis, to share the goodness of being fit while having fun. The yogis all rushed to have their photos taken at the photo booth, and have their yoga poses shared on Facebook and Instagram, which made the event truly worth remembering.

Happy New Year! Staycation at The Icon Residences!

I am not a big fan of bountiful New Year's Eve celebration or Christmas Eve either.  Since year 2004, the first Christmas and New Year, we spend without my dad.  Things were never the same again.

Good thing, I got a new reason to celebrate each day! The time I had my wonderful daughter! Since her existence, we started with our small family tradition to spend it in a hotel or other place specially on a New Year's eve.  Due to her health issues, we needed to spend our New Year's Eve, away from too much noise and smokes.

We also have this tradition of exploring hotels on her birthdays...Every year, we search for a new place where we can celebrate her birthday. Her standard requirements...must be with a swimming pool or a bath tub. She loves to swim and soak herself in the bath tub.

After swimming session, it's her time to watch-all-she-can because they have their reliable cable.  She took the opportunity to watch her favorite channels, since we do not have cable at home. She had her grand time with her staycation! She even requested to have more nights of stay here at The Icon.

I felt at home, there's the kitchen complete with stuff that I needed. Feels like home to me. This is the prize of staying in a condo unit. It's like your home away from home.

A neat and clean bathroom, and call it comfort room where you can take a seat comfortably...Hot or cold bath to freshen up. We are actually a family who is so particular and obsessed with nice comfort rooms...

I also loved the swimming pool! Only 4ft for a non-swimmer like me... Of course, the young lady had a grand time flipping her arms and feet in the cold water.  She stayed in the pool even though it drizzles.

We had a wonderful stay here at the D Fort Icon Big Studio of The Icon Residences.  I enjoyed the comfort of being around the area. Just few steps away from Mc Donalds! And nothing compare to an early morning walk around trees and grasses just after stepping out from the building. Fresh air in the city. So sad, I failed to take some photos because it was raining a little.
